Grandma Visits & Halloween

We had our ward Trunk or Treat a few days ago.  It was really fun. Benson didn't stop running around the gym the whole time.  He took a small break to choke down a hot dog.  The rest of his time was spent stealing wands from princesses and sneaking into the chips.  A true pirate.

He participated in the parade very well.  Waving at all his admirers.

Last week my mom was here. It is so nice to have a visit from your mom! She was especially helpful and cleaned my crock pot like a champ.  Her stew and dumplings are to die for!

She brought a few crafts for Benson to do, and he loved them.  Here is his monster.

We spent a day at Fort McHenry! It was a really neat place to visit. Unfortunately the video wasn't working.. so we will have to go back.

We had BEAUTIFUL weather every single day.

We are not toilet training yet, but i did buy a toilet and he sat there and played for a solid 30 minutes.

My Mom and I spent a wonderful morning in Georgetown.  We tried several cupcake shops and the Good Stuff for lunch.  It was such a beautiful morning and benson was so well behaved!  It was so nice having mom here. We sure wish we could see her (and everyone else) more often!
